About Our Company
CMS is a full-service technology subcontracting and installation company dedicated to delivering efficient, customized, high-quality technology environments tailored to each client’s needs. Based in Farmingdale, New York, we proudly serve the five boroughs of New York City as well as Nassau and Suffolk counties, while also supporting projects on a broader scale. We are fully licensed with Low Voltage Electrician and New York State certifications for all serviced areas, and we maintain union agreements with IBEW Local 25 and Local 3—ensuring every project is completed with skilled labor, professionalism, and a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Christian A. Peterson III is a seasoned executive and industry leader with over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and security sectors. He has served as President of Certified Multimedia Solutions LTD for more than 20 years, where he has consistently driven innovation, growth, and operational excellence across multiple organizations.
Throughout his career, Christian has remained committed to delivering high-quality products and services that meet—and exceed—the evolving needs of his clients. His leadership has been instrumental in developing and launching innovative technologies, while generating substantial revenue growth and expanding market presence across the industries he serves.
Christian brings extensive expertise in contract negotiation, strategic planning, account management, and systems integration. His ability to align business strategy with technical innovation has made him a valuable asset in building successful companies and long-term client relationships.
An accomplished inventor, Christian was awarded a U.S. patent in 2015 for TiniFiber®, a revolutionary fiber optic solution that is stronger, smaller, and more flexible than traditional fiber cables.
Beyond his executive leadership, Christian is actively involved in advancing the industry. He has served as part of the NECA TSI Task Force and has held numerous roles on New York IBEW boards, contributing his expertise to workforce development and industry standards. Most recently, he joined the Suffolk County Police Foundation, further demonstrating his commitment to community engagement and public safety initiatives.
In addition to his professional achievements, Christian is a dedicated mentor and speaker who has shared his experience with audiences of all ages. He was recognized in 2014 by the Future Business Leaders of America Invitational for his contributions to students at West Islip High School.
